Summary
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Stood (Rochester) as a Bathroom Showroom Sales Advisor. The role involves assisting customers in the showroom to select bathroom products, offering tailored advice, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and maintaining a well-presented and organised showroom. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar role, have a flair for design and work well in a team.
Role Responsibilities
- Engage with customers understanding their needs and preferences, providing advice on products and services.
- Drive sales through effective communication and negotiation skills, ensuring customer satisfaction at every interaction.
- Produce detailed quotations and designs using dedicated CAD software.
- Manage sales from start to finish processing customer orders, payments and arranging collections/deliveries.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers - product training to be provided on the job.
- Work well with other team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Utilise strong sales techniques and product knowledge to maximise sales.
- Maintain an organised and tidy workspace/Showroom
- Administrative duties such as monitoring and following up e-mails and telephone enquiries.
- Maintaining communications with customers and suppliers.
Key Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience of bathrooms in a retail showroom environment would be a strong advantage.
- Creative Flair and a strong attention to detail.
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality.
- Good communication skills both writing and verbal.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Be of smart appearance and have a professional manner at all times.
- Follow all companies’ policies and procedures.
- Any other ad hoc duties required.

Working hours: 4 week days + Saturday
e.g. Mon, Thur, Fri – 8am-5pm, Saturdays 8am-2pm + Choice of Tuesday or Wednesday as a non-working day with the other being a working day
