Summary

About the role

We’re looking for a visionary Head of Proposition and Platform Design to lead our global design function and shape the future of our platform experience. This is a strategic leadership role where you’ll define and deliver an end-to-end experience vision that serves both human users and machine interactions. You’ll accelerate design and development across our product ecosystem, ensuring our solutions are accessible, intuitive, and valuable.

As we embrace AI and automation, you’ll play a critical role in defining how design fosters trust, usability, and adoption across all touchpoints—human, machine, and agentic. This is an opportunity to influence the evolution of our business model and embed design-led innovation at the heart of our platform strategy.

You will be responsible for

  • Strategic Leadership: Act as a thought partner to product and technology leadership, aligning design strategy with business objectives and platform architecture.
  • Experience Vision: Define and champion an end-to-end experience vision for our platform, ensuring coherence across products and services.
  • Innovation & AI Integration: Lead the integration of AI into user experiences, shaping how AI acts as assistant, collaborator, and autonomous agent.
  • Design Systems: Drive the creation and adoption of cross-platform design systems to accelerate delivery and ensure scalability.
  • Service Design: Map workflows that include automation and data exchange, championing service design across human and machine touchpoints.
  • Developer & Partner Experience: Reimagine developer and partner experiences through intuitive interfaces, documentation, and tools.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a multi-disciplinary design team, embedding a platform-first operating model and fostering an inclusive, innovative culture.
  • Metrics & Governance: Establish clear KPIs for experience coherence, adoption, and trust in AI-driven experiences.

You will need

  • Proven senior design leadership in complex, multi-sided B2B or B2B2C platform environments (e.g., SaaS, retail media, data analytics).
  • Expertise in retail, CPG, or related sectors.
  • Strong problem-solving and structuring skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Deep understanding of AI, automation, and agentic systems in design.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align design strategy with business and technology architecture.
  • Skilled people leader with experience attracting, developing, and retaining world-class design talent.
  • Comfortable working in evolving environments and driving change through collaboration and innovation.
