Summary

A full-time Scheme Support Officer role at a Supported Housing service in the Rhondda area. You will be required to work on a rota basis which included days, waking nights, weekends and sleep-ins.

About the role

This Scheme Support Officer role is based at Caersalem House, we have a team of Scheme Support Officers and Projects Workers providing 24/7 support to individuals who are 18+ and are experiencing homelessness.

As a Scheme Support Officer you will support our customers in planning goals which will help them achieve the skills required to live independently. You will work interactively, engaging customers in activities and engaging with the right specialist services to address any other support needs that customers may have.

Skills and Experience Needed

To be a great Scheme Support Officer, you don’t always need previous experience or qualifications. This role requires flexibility along with enthusiasm, motivation and creativity. You need the ability to work on your own initiative in a busy and dynamic role as well as being a positive team member.

A full valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential for the role. Only applicants that hold this will be considered for the role.

Pay and Pensions -

£24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
Pension Choices:
Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Or,
Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.

Time off and Flexibility -

26 days holiday, pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays. Rising to 27 days after 1 years service or cash equivalent of 1 days’ annual leave.

Paternity Leave: 3 weeks
