This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a senior leadership role shaping the future of Liverpool’s most prestigious civic venues. We are seeking a visionary, operationally astute leader to join our innovative City Halls team, with a primary focus on the iconic St George’s Hall.

As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining driving excellence in event delivery and ensuring uncompromising standards of safety and service. This is more than an operational role it’s a chance to lead transformation, inspire teams, and influence how Liverpool’s landmark venues operate at a national standard.

The role:

The role of Venue Operations Manager will provide:

Provide strategic leadership for venue operations across City Halls, setting the benchmark for operational excellence and compliance
Lead and develop high-performing teams, including Building & Event Supervisors and Venue Operations Support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Shape operational frameworks, implementing robust Standard Operating Procedures, training programmes, and resource strategies to future-proof service delivery.

Champion health & safety governance, risk management, and business continuity planning across all venues

Act as the senior liaison for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional client experience

Drive sustainability initiatives, technical oversight, and operational resilience to meet evolving industry standards
