Summary

Music Teacher Job - Leicester

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Music Teacher. This is a part-time role, working 4 days a week (excluding Tuesdays), until at least February Half Term. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

Job Description

  • Delivering engaging and creative Music lessons.
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
  • Recent experience teaching Music at secondary school level.
  • Strong behaviour/classroom management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
