Summary
Do you want design and implement ambitious landscape-scale projects to restore habitats and species? Are you capable of inspiring, developing and designing large, multi-partner projects and ensuring they are evidence-based?
You will provide expert ecological advice to the expanding range of Nature Recovery projects led by the University of Leeds. You will take the lead in designing and implementing evidence-based nature recovery projects across Northern England through the Alliance for Northern Nature, a partnership of nature recovery projects led by the University of Leeds across Northern England.
You will have expert ecological knowledge and in-depth experience of delivering ecologically robust and practical approaches for nature recovery. You will make a critical contribution to the overall delivery through informing habitat management, site assessments, ecological monitoring, and reporting. You will inspire and proactively engage to seek out new opportunities and build new partnerships to drive new ambition for nature recovery across northern England.
This is a full time position. We expect the position to be home-based with extensive site visits to projects in Cumbria.
