We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Lichfield, WS14. Job Description:

Supporting a female client who has a diagnosis of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and suffers with her mental health. She requires assistance with most activities of daily living and is a full-time wheelchair user with limited use of her hands. Tasks include but are not limited to: Catheter care, personal care, repositioning and medication administration. This job vacancy requires a Driver with a full UK license due to the need for getting the client to/from appointments etc.

Hours: Monday – Friday DAYS 8:00am – 4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.

Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.

What We're Looking For:

A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.

A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential. Previous knowledge around MS and Mental Health support would be preferred but is not essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
