Summary

Neway International are seeking a Swap Out Controller to join our client based with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (Vision Products).

Location: Vision Products, Pontyclun
Hours: 37 hours per week
Start Date: asap - initially for a 3-month contract (likely to be extended)
Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 16:00

About the Client
Vision Products, part of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, provides specialist assistive technology services to support vulnerable residents across the community. Their Swap Out Programme focuses on upgrading analogue home care devices to modern digital equipment, ensuring continuity of service and improved safety for service users.

The Role
As a Swap Out Controller, you will support the Assistive Technology Department in delivering a large-scale equipment upgrade programme. This is a customer-facing role involving the replacement of analogue devices with digital alternatives in service users’ homes. You will ensure equipment is installed correctly, demonstrate its use, and provide a positive, reassuring experience for each customer.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled swap-outs of analogue home care devices to digital units

Follow installation procedures and ensure equipment is functioning correctly

Provide clear demonstrations to customers (full training provided)

Maintain accurate records of completed installations

Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet programme targets

Represent Vision Products professionally during home visits

Candidate Requirements
Strong team-working skills with a flexible, proactive approach

Good communication skills and confidence engaging with customers

Basic IT skills

Full UK Driving Licence

Ability to follow instructions and work to set processes

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to demonstrate equipment to customers (training provided)

DBS required
