Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for Key Stage 1?
We're working with a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Aston that are looking for a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to support across Year 1 and Year 2 classes. If you're confident working flexibly across different classrooms and enjoy helping young learners thrive, this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support across Year 1 and Year 2.
- Assist with group activities, reading, and phonics sessions.
- Support children with additional needs as required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
- Work collaboratively with the KS1 teaching team.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting in KS1 (Year 1 or Year 2 essential).
- Good knowledge of phonics (Letters and Sounds or Read Write Inc.).
- Confident, reliable and proactive across different classrooms.
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
