Summary

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We’re looking for committed, resilient and compassionate Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our team.
You’ll be supporting children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities, helping them develop life skills, confidence and independence within a safe and nurturing home environment.

You will build positive and meaningful relationships with children and young people, acting as a mentor and role model to enable looked after children to address challenges and build resilience, enabling children and young people to achieve their full potential on their journey to adulthood.

What you'll do
• Provide day-to-day care, guidance and emotional support
• Promote independence and positive outcomes
• Support with daily routines, education, activities and appointments
• Work effectively as part of a supportive residential care team
• Use trauma-informed approaches to build trust and stability

What We’re Looking For
✔ Minimum 6 months experience in a similar Children’s Residential or Support Worker role (essential)
✔ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (desirable)
✔ A calm, resilient and caring approach
✔ Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends covering early, late, sleep in and waking nights
✔ A passion for supporting young people to thrive
Driving licence desirable
