Summary
The post holders will work a 10 PA contract based at either St Marys Hospital, joining an on-call rota set at 1:12 (adults) or 1:10 (paeds) or Charing Cross Hospital, joining an on-call rota set at 1:15. We are looking for outstanding anaesthetists with subspecialty interests (please look at the JDs to understand which role requires which subspeciality interest) together with significant experience in our other sub-specialties including urology, regional anaesthesia, orthopaedics, perioperative medicine, and head and neck/airway anaesthesia. The successful applicant will become part of our busy department. The workload demands a flexible and responsive service to both emergency and elective work within the operating theatre environment, emergency department and in remote sites including MRI, CT and interventional radiology. In addition to a broad range of both elective and emergency clinical work, the post-holder will have ample opportunity to be involved in research, teaching and training, governance and leadership opportunities, as well as QI projects.
