As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our nursing teams and delivering compassionate, individualised patient care. No two days are the same — you’ll be part of a fast‑paced, rewarding environment where your contribution truly matters.

What the Role Involves
• Working a variety of shift patterns, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
• Standard 12‑hour shifts across most wards
• Supporting Team Leaders and Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in delivering high‑quality care
• Enhancing patient experience through kindness, professionalism, and excellent communication
• Developing your skills across a range of specialties in a dynamic clinical environment

You’ll be joining a skilled and supportive team dedicated to delivering high‑quality, individualised patient care. This is a role for someone who brings energy, motivation, and a genuine passion for improving the patient experience. Every day will stretch your organisational skills, broaden your clinical knowledge, and give you the chance to work across a variety of specialties.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Providing compassionate, person‑centred care and communicating with kindness.
• Supporting patients with personal care needs, including catheter care and continence management
• Assisting with nutrition and hydration to promote patient wellbeing
• Delivering effective pressure area care
• Collecting routine specimens safely and accurately
• Carrying out safe moving and handling practices
• Completing essential documentation such as food and fluid charts and outcome sheets
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised clinical environment
• Delivering care in line with risk assessments and individual care plans
• Ensuring clinical rooms are fully stocked with the correct forms and patient information
• Preparing medical notes to support the smooth running of clinics
