The Opportunity:
This Research Associate position will contribute to the ThermEnTrans Project within the Institute for Multiscale Thermofluids at the University of Edinburgh, which is funded by European Commission and in collaboration with colleagues at 18 institutions world-wide.
Your skills and attributes for success:
• A good undergraduate degree and a PhD in Multiphase Flows or a clearly related area, with a focus on simulations and modelling of droplets, or a closely related area or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven track record of research in modelling and simulations of multiphase flows.
• Experience in delivering research project results; i.e. a record of peer-reviewed journal and conference papers in a relevant area.
• Capable of working collaboratively with researchers from different disciplines or technical background.
• Capable of working independently, exercising a high degree of initiative and demonstrating a pro-active and flexible approach to work.
