The HICA Group is looking for a dedicated and proactive Handy Person to join our team at Kirkgate House, a modern and welcoming care service based in Bridlington. This is your chance to be part of a not-for-profit organisation that truly values its people and the difference they make every day.
As our Handy Person, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include general repairs and maintenance of fixtures and fittings, redecorating internal and external areas, deep cleaning of kitchens and equipment, managing drainage systems, and maintaining the exterior of the home. You’ll also carry out weekly checks including temperatures, window restrictors, profiling beds, slide sheets and moving & handling equipment, fire safety systems, call bells, legionella checks, and painting and decorating.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours:
Rate of Pay: £13.33per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Rota-based, covering 7 days per week.
