Summary

We're looking for a Construction Manager to join our Natural Resources team based on site at Hogsmill Sewage Treatment Works, Surrey on behalf of Thames Water.

Responsibilities

As Construction Manager you'll be pivotal in ensuring construction projects' are safe and efficient. You will be responsible for supporting the entire construction process of a project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards through to completion and handover, with meticulous site management and operational oversight. You'll oversee projects that are civils in nature with an element of MEICA.



Your day to day will include:

-Planning and coordination: Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.

-Procurement: Overseeing the purchase of materials and equipment.

-Team management: Hiring, managing, and leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors.

-Site management: Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and health and safety compliance.



What are we looking for?

This role of Construction Manager is great for you if you:

-Demonstrating knowledge and practical application of a construction site's setup and day-to-day running.

-Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card - Supervisor - Gold, Experienced Supervisor or Manager.

-Demonstrating knowledge and practical application of a construction site's setup and day-to-day running.

-Demonstrate experience within the Major Projects (Non Infrastructure) sector within the water industry, with a predominantly MEICA background.
