Summary
About the job.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Advisor to join our HR team, at National Highways, on an 18-month fixed term contract basis.
This role sits within our HR Shared Service team and you will be completing pre-employment checks in the onboarding of new starters, including requesting references, medicals and other checks. You will also be providing excellent, responsive customer service to hiring managers, candidates and key stakeholders.
- Complete all onboarding tasks following our processes and using our systems and trackers to record all actions completed and to prompt those that require action.
- Respond to onboarding queries via our customer query management system and on the phones in line with Shared Service SLAs and quality standards.
- Create, complete and update employee records in the HR management system following completion of recruitment campaigns.
- Undertake housekeeping in all systems used to ensure records flow through to completion or are cancelled, closed or withdrawn as necessary.
- Complete position management tasks to support management of the organisation workforce plan.
The role will be worked on a hybrid basis, with a combination of office and remote working. You will be required to attend the Birmingham office at least 2 days per week.
About you.
- Demonstratable experience of attention to detail through accurate data entry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong experience of managing multiple stakeholders
- A competent user of internal systems as well as Microsoft office packages
- Vocational or standard qualifications - either GSCE/A Levels or NVQ/Apprenticeship
- HR administration experience is desirable
