Summary
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and caring Nursery Practitioner to join a warm and welcoming nursery with a supportive leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Nursery Practitioner, your duties will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
Observing, assessing, and tracking children’s development and progress
Acting as a Key Person and supporting key children
Providing personal care, supervision, and mealtime support
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Supporting children’s emotional, social, and physical development
Following safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
Managing daily routines and ensuring each child’s individual needs are met
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
A genuine passion for early years education
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
