Summary

Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week

Plymouth

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster. The Engineer Training School Administrator will deliver training support by providing training documentation and validation aids to enable the training staff to carry out their duties in line with current policy.

Occasional travel to HMS Raleigh in Torpoint will be expected.

Flexibility with hours worked will be required during Assessment weeks (Around 15 weeks of the year)

What you'll be doing

• Enrolling of students on courses, including the management of any name changes and cancellations.
• Ensuring all course attendees receive joining Instructions.
• Providing course managers with attendee lists.
• Processing all course enquiries.
• Swap/remove students from courses.
• Control the production, scanning, archiving and destruction of student exam papers for all relevant courses.
• Manage Conference Room bookings as required.
• Produce completion certificates for successful students.
• Support practical assessments

What we're looking for:

Essential:

• IT Skills - competent with Microsoft Office applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in an administration role
• Ability to work unsupervised with limited direction. Sound knowledge of office administration.
• Previous experience within training or the military, would be an advantage.
