Summary
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in the classroom? Hays Education is working with a secondary school in Preston to recruit a dedicated KS3 Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
Your new role
As a KS3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support whole-class teaching across a range of subjects.
- Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with lower-level abilities to help them reach their full potential.
- Assist with classroom management and provide one-to-one or small group support where needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (KS3 preferred).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
