Your new company
Hays Education is working with a high school in Wigan to recruit a dedicated KS3 Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young learners and helping them achieve their academic potential.
Your new role
In this role, you will provide support across whole classes in Key Stage 3, working closely with teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. You will also deliver targeted interventions for pupils with lower-level abilities, ensuring they receive the additional help they need to progress. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom management, supporting small groups, and offering one-to-one guidance where required.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone with experience working with secondary-aged pupils, ideally within KS3. Strong communication skills, the ability to engage and motivate students, and a proactive, flexible approach are essential for success in this role.
