This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and compassionate leader to take ownership of a busy, high-performing clinic and play a pivotal role in shaping the nursing standards and client experience at one of the group’s flagship locations.
As Head Nurse, the successful candidate will lead a team of skilled nurses, driving excellence in patient care while cultivating a supportive, collaborative, and positive workplace culture. They will be instrumental in upholding exceptional clinical standards and ensuring the practice’s state-of-the-art facilities and bespoke technology are utilised to their fullest potential.
The practice itself is modern and well-equipped, featuring an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, and dental X-ray, among other advanced tools. The incoming Head Nurse will join an experienced and friendly veterinary team, all dedicated to delivering the highest level of care and always ready to lend a helping hand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team to deliver the highest standards of patient and client care.
• Oversee the smooth daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practice protocols.
• Collaborate closely with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team to ensure seamless service and outstanding client experiences.
• Maintain clinical standards, oversee health and safety compliance, and manage all medical equipment and technology.
• Take responsibility for stock management and ordering of medical supplies and medications.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivated team culture.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the clinic and actively participate in professional growth and training initiatives.
