About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Asset & Reliability Manager to provide continuity of service for our technical teams and to support the development of the site into a flagship contract for Sodexo.
This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and enforcing the Asset Management Strategy, working closely with Sodexo and client stakeholders on CAPEX planning, lifecycle management, and reliability improvement.
You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for asset management, ensuring compliance, optimised performance, and alignment with business and real estate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enforce theLocal Asset Management Plan (LAMP)
- Define asset management strategy aligned with Sodexo frameworks and client objectives
- Ensure Shell business-focused maintenance strategies are developed and adhered to
- Establish and maintain robustasset change management processes
- Act as Sodexo Asset Management SME at stakeholder forums
- Maintain acomplete, accurate, and compliant asset registeracross multiple MIS platforms
- Conductannual 20% asset validation surveysto support lifecycle planning, condition, criticality, and energy analysis
- Ensure timely updates following projects, lifecycle replacements, and asset changes (including warranties)
- Maintain accurate asset data using CAFM and BIM systems
- Develop, maintain, and manage aplanned maintenance task library, aligned with:
- Statutory requirements
- Manufacturer recommendations
- SFG20 and industry best practice
- Client-specific maintenance initiatives
- Produce and manage a compliantplanned maintenance programme
- Review failure trends and implementroot cause and reliability improvement initiatives
- Refine maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life
- Provide audit capability to ensure contractual and statutory compliance
- Develop5-year lifecycle, FMR, and asset replacement forecasts
- Support and authorise lifecycle replacement and capital investment pursuits
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams on asset replacement, decommissioning, and improvement works
- Provide technical input and support forbusiness casesand CAPEX submissions
- Produce monthly and annual reports covering:
- Asset condition
- Lifecycle planning
- CAPEX strategy
- KPIs and performance metrics
- Support annual condition and lifecycle survey reporting
- Ensure documentation, processes, and governance requirements are consistently met
- Foster a stronghealth and safety culture
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Sodexo policies
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams, clients, and external stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
- Strong technical understanding of building systems and maintenance processes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
