Are you ready to make a meaningful impact while working in a vibrant, supportive environment? We're looking for enthusiastic and proactive Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Wokingham, supporting four amazing gentlemen in their 50s-60s to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You'll work in a lively registered care home full of activities. Each gentleman has learning disabilities, and some also live with epilepsy. Here's what makes them special:

- Vibrant and Social: They enjoy music, football matches, sensory sessions, and arts and crafts.

- Foodies: Love planning and sharing meals—cooking at home or dining out at the local pub.

- Active and Engaged: Trips to town on the bus and visits with the “Music Man” make their days exciting.

- Unique Communication Styles: Three individuals do not use words to communicate and thrive with patient, empathetic support.

This is a home filled with laughter, music, and creativity—a place where every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact.

What Will You Be Doing?

- Promoting Independence: Assist with personal care, budgeting, meal prep, and shopping.

- Encouraging Activities: Support outings to the cinema, sensory sessions, and football matches.

- Providing Tailored Care: Offer specialised support, including PEG feeding for one individual.

- Maintaining the Home: Help with housework and meal planning.

- Building Relationships: Work closely with families and team members to create a positive atmosphere.

Shift Patterns

- Long Days: 8:00am - 8:00pm
Rotas provided in advance for a healthy work-life balance.
