Pay: £12.64 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible hours available)
Driver Requirement: Working towards driving confidence (manual preferred for mobility vehicles)

We're looking for Support Workers to join our dedicated team in WR9, supporting six incredible individuals aged 19-31 with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs. This is a highly rewarding role where teamwork and creativity make all the difference.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

- Six people living in self-contained apartments on one floor (2 ladies and 4 gents)

- Each person has unique personalities and interests, with strong family involvement

- Most use wheelchairs and hoists; confidence with manual handling is essential

Their Interests Include:

- College attendance (several individuals attend 3-5 days a week)

- Busy social lives, cinema trips, bowling, and walks in the park

- Gaming, comics, cartoons, and spending time in the garden

- Community roles and personal hobbies

Your Role

You'll provide 1:1 care and support, ensuring safety, dignity, and engagement. Responsibilities include:

- Personal care and manual handling

- Supporting PEG feeding and dysphagia needs

- Administering medication (including buccal for epilepsy)

- Promoting independence and meaningful routines

- Engaging in social and community activities

- Spotting non-verbal communication cues and responding with empathy

Shift Patterns

- Days: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM / 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM / Long Days: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM

- Nights: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM / 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM / 10:00 PM - 9:30 AM

Rotas provided in advance for work-life balance.
