Summary

Start 2026 with purpose as a Female Support Worker in WR9 (Droitwich Area)

Location: WR9 - Droitwich (Close to local amenities)
Pay: £12.64 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift
Position: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Driver Requirement: Working towards driving confidence (manual preferred for mobility vehicles)

We're looking for Female Support Workers to join our dedicated team in WR9, supporting six incredible individuals aged 20s-30s with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs. This is a highly rewarding role where every day brings new opportunities to create meaningful experiences.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

- Five gentlemen and one lady, each with unique personalities and communication styles

- Most use wheelchairs and hoists; confidence with manual handling is essential

- Strong family involvement and collaborative working with relatives

Their Interests Include:

- Sensory activities, hydrotherapy, and water play

- Trips to Apex motocross, train stations, and church visits

- Music, nursery rhymes, and story time

- Creative hobbies like painting and woodwork

- Fun, silly interactions and role play

Your Role

You'll provide 1:1 and 2:1 support, ensuring safety, dignity, and engagement. Responsibilities include:

- Personal care and manual handling

- Supporting PEG feeding and dysphagia needs

- Administering medication (including buccal for epilepsy)

- Promoting independence and meaningful routines

- Engaging in sensory and community activities

- Building strong relationships with families and the team

Shift Patterns

- Day: 7:30 AM - 8:30 PM / 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM / 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM

- Long Day: 7:30 AM - 10:00 PM

- Night: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM / 10:00 PM - 9:30 AM (Sleep-ins included)

Rotas provided in advance for work-life balance.

What We're Looking For

- Female applicant (Genuine Occupational Requirement applies)

- Great communication skills and ability to spot non-verbal cues

- Calm under pressure, proactive, and forward-thinking

- Comfortable singing, making silly faces, and engaging creatively

- Team player who builds positive relationships with staff and families

- Confidence with manual handling and mobility support

(Experience in complex care preferred but full training provided.)
