Roles & Responsibilities-
Deliver high-quality support during structured play and adult-led activities to meet early learning goals.

Act as a key person for a small group of children, monitoring their personal, social, and emotional development.

Assist in the creation of vibrant and engaging learning environments both inside the classroom and in outdoor provision.

Maintain accurate and detailed observations of pupil progress using digital learning journals.

Provide essential care and supervision, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times.

Work collaboratively with the Early Years Lead to adapt resources for children with additional needs or English as an additional language.

Foster strong, professional relationships with parents and carers through daily handovers and progress updates.

Relevant qualification in Early Years or Childcare (Level 2 or 3) is highly desirable.

Proven experience working within a nursery or primary foundation setting in the UK.

Deep understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding protocols.

Excellent communication skills and a patient, child-centred approach to learning.

Ability to work proactively as part of a busy, professional team.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to complete a new application.
