Summary

Wiring Technician - North London (Permanent)

We are working exclusively with a high-end design and manufacturing studio based in North London, specialising in the creation of bespoke, functional pieces for luxury residential and commercial interiors.

This is a rare opportunity to join a skilled in-house production team where craftsmanship, precision, and quality are central to everything they produce.

The Role

As a Wiring Technician, you will play a key role within the production environment, supporting the assembly and wiring of complex electrical components used in bespoke design pieces. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working with precision, learning new techniques, and contributing to exceptional finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and wire electrical components to a high standard

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical layouts

  • Inspect and test wiring assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

  • Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules

  • Maintain accurate records using internal HR and production systems

  • Adhere to electrical codes, health & safety regulations, and workshop procedures

  • Support on-site and off-site installations when required

  • Identify and report faults, issues, or opportunities for process improvement

  • Work collaboratively within the production team to meet project deadlines

Knowledge & Experience (Desirable)
  • Experience with cable assemblies, soldering, crimping, or connectors

  • Understanding of electrical principles and safe working practices

  • Background in electrical, electronic, or production-based environments
