Roles & Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Delivery: Designing and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners within the classroom.

  • Assessment for Learning: Using frequent formative and summative assessments to track attainment and identify necessary interventions.

  • Subject Leadership: Taking responsibility for a specific curriculum area, coordinating resources and sharing best practices with colleagues.

  • Staff Mentoring: Managing and directing the work of classroom support staff to ensure cohesive pupil support.

  • Parental Engagement: Maintaining professional and proactive communication with parents and carers regarding pupil development.

  • Professional Development: Actively participating in school-wide planning meetings and professional learning communities.

  • Safeguarding: Adhering strictly to all safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure a safe learning environment.

Requirements
  • Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.

  • Teaching Experience: Proven success in delivering the National Curriculum within a UK primary school.

  • Data Proficiency: The ability to analyse pupil data to drive teaching strategies and report on outcomes.

  • Teamwork: A collaborative ethos and the ability to work effectively within a large, professional team.

  • Ambition: A commitment to continuous professional improvement and a desire to take on leadership responsibilities.

  • Vetting: An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service is required.
