Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher - Inspire Young Minds in Preston!

Are you a passionate and adaptable KS1 Teacher (QTS) looking to make a meaningful impact in Preston? We are seeking enthusiastic educators to join dynamic primary school settings starting in January 2026.

Whether you are an experienced practitioner or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is your chance to foster a love for learning during the most foundational years of a child's education.

Starting in the January 2026 term, we are looking for proactive teachers to support respected primary schools across Preston. These roles offer total flexibility, ranging from short-term supply to long-term contracts that could lead to permanent positions for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for delivering the KS1 curriculum with energy and creativity, ensuring that every child-from those just starting Year 1 to those preparing for Year 2 SATs-feels supported and challenged.

Responsibilities as a KS1 Teacher
  • Communicate with and support children with additional needs.

  • Show a strong commitment to children's education and create an optimal learning environment.

  • Maintain a positive outlook and attitude.

  • Apply various teaching methods effectively.

  • Demonstrate good organisational and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.

  • Recent classroom experience.

  • Two references from the last 5 years (one must be a full child-based safeguarding reference).

Desired:
