Crynodeb
Ensure the needs of service users and their carers are assessed and met, maintaining person-centred, outcomes-focused care while upholding dignity and meeting all relevant quality standards, including accurate and timely patient records. Manage the team to ensure the effective and efficient deployment of resources, achieving agreed outcomes and targets to meet standards of care and support. Responsible for administration, supporting peers and the safe dispensing of medication in line with medical, nursing, and manufacturer guidance to ensure a high-quality and compliant service. Coach, mentor, and support the development of student and newly qualified nurses, promoting continuous professional development and high standards of clinical practice. Assist the Service Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure that the service meets all relevant quality standards and related professional regulatory body requirements. Proactively identify and manage risks, implementing measures to mitigate and reduce potential harm. Undertake regular audits of service delivery and clinical practice, reporting findings to the Clinical Lead and recommending improvements to maintain compliance, governance, and high-quality care. Proactively address and manage conflict within the team, using constructive resolution approaches to maintain a supportive, respectful working environment, and escalating concerns appropriately when required. Deputise for the Clinical Lead as required. Undertake any reasonable duties necessary to support the organisation and maintain high standards of care.
