Description
The Social Work Assistant (SWA) plays a critical role in supporting social workers and other professionals in delivering essential services to individuals and families in need. Responsibilities
Assist social workers in providing direct support to clients and families in need.

Facilitate workshops and support groups to educate clients about available resources and coping strategies.
Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers and educators, to develop comprehensive care plans.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance professional skills and knowledge in social work practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred.
Experience in social services or a related environment is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding toward clients from diverse backgrounds.
Proficiency in documented case management and record-keeping practices.
Knowledge of local community resources and services for individuals and families.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
