Summary

Traffic Marshal

Location: Mersey Ports
Job Type: Long-Term, Ongoing Position
Shifts: Days, Nights, Weekends (Flexible Working Required)

We are recruiting a responsible and alert Traffic Marshal to join our operations across the Mersey Ports dock network. This is a secure, long-term role with consistent hours, ongoing support, and full training provided.

What you'll be doing
  • Directing and managing vehicle and pedestrian movement within the port

  • Ensuring safe traffic flow around busy dock areas, terminals, and warehouses

  • Communicating clearly with drivers, site teams, and the public

  • Enforcing safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents

  • Supporting loading, unloading, and logistical movements safely and efficiently

  • Confidence working in a fast-paced industrial port environment

  • Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset
