Summary
Work within and adhere to the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, The Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) standards of practice, and The Trust relevant policies and guidelines. The post holder is an autonomous practitioner, responsible for provision of highly specialised assessment, treatment, intervention and discharge planning of patients referred to the service. Has responsibility for managing a caseload of patients with a variety of complex symptoms following critical illness. Carry out assessment and prescription of equipment and adaptations. Assist the Clinical Lead Therapist in the planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating of the Critical Care Therapy Service provided.
