About the role

The faculty of Construction are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Plastering Programme Leader to join the well-established Construction team. This is a fast paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders in providing high quality teaching to learners aged 16 plus, teaching Level 1 and 2 in Plastering.



Other duties will include:



Teaching, facilitating and tracking of learner progress.
Assessment of learner progress against targeted achievement.
Ensuring the provision of high-quality pastoral and supportive care of learners as part of the whole learner journey.
Ensure the provision of highly effective guidance to learners to assist them through their programme and in their progression onto a positive destination, for example higher learning or employment.
Maintain effective management of learners’ programmes, working with other teams as required ensuring a high quality, individualized offer.


About the person

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service, as well as strong organisation and administrative skills. Candidates should also have:

· Level 3 or above qualification in plastering.

· Prior experience working in a construction environment.

· Experience of analysing data and writing reports.

· ICT competency
