About the role

We are seeking a resilient, motivated, and innovative Programme Leader to join our experienced Psychology team. This is predominantly a teaching role, with responsibilities centred on delivering high-quality, engaging lectures and supporting student learning across a range of programmes.

Role & Expectations:

Deliver innovative and inspiring lectures in Psychology and related subjects.
Teach across programmes within the faculty, including Psychology, Health, and Social Science degrees.
Support the Programme Leader with programme management, contributing to the smooth running and development of the curriculum.
Monitor and support student progress, offering guidance and feedback to help learners achieve their potential.
Analyse programme data to evaluate outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement.
About the person

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

Higher Education teaching experience with a proven ability to deliver engaging and innovative lectures.
An MSc in Psychology (specialism preferable), with strong subject knowledge across core and applied areas.
Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) or registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in a specialist psychology area.
Resilience and motivation, with a commitment to supporting student success and progression.
Creativity and innovation in teaching practice, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
Strong analytical skills to monitor student progress and interpret programme data for continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively within an experienced academic team and across faculty programmes (including Health and Social Science degrees).
