Summary
The Ideal Candidate Will Be Required To:
Deliver a high-quality temporary accommodation service for households to whom the council owes a statutory homelessness duty, including families with children and single people.
Provide a coordinated, end-to-end support service for homeless customers, from placement into temporary accommodation through to successful move-on into permanent housing.
Work proactively with internal teams, housing providers, and partner agencies to ensure accommodation is safe, suitable, and sustainable.
Support customers to address housing-related needs, promote tenancy sustainment, and reduce repeat homelessness.
Maintain accurate records and ensure services are delivered in line with housing legislation, safeguarding requirements, and council policies.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must be able to provide 5 years of employment references.
