Summary

When you work for the University of Lancashire, you’ll be part of a thriving community of talent that’s united in a common commitment to transform lives. We do this by delivering an outstanding educational experience and creating prosperity and opportunity in the communities we serve. Whatever your role, you’ll be playing a vital part in helping us achieve our vision.

About the role:

The University has recently undergone a transformative branding project as we became the University of Lancashire. We are looking for a Lancashire Brand Manager to lead the delivery of this unique opportunity to shape our identity and ensure a seamless transition that reflects our vision and values. As part of our marketing team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies and partners to deliver a comprehensive rebranding strategy that makes a lasting impact.

You will act as the primary contact for the University's name change project, managing timelines, milestones and deliverables. Leading the implementation of our new brand strategy, you will plan and deliver compelling brand awareness campaigns on a UK and Global scale to our key audiences, and deliver a communications plan to ensure the smooth adoption of the new brand internally. You'll maintain compliance with legal, regulatory and reputational standards, safeguarding the integrity of the University's transformation.

This is your chance to lead a high-profile project that will define the future of our University.

About you:

To succeed in this role you'll bring proven experience in managing large-scale branding or rebranding projects within complex organisations, coupled with exceptional project management skills to handle multiple workstreams effectively. Collaboration is at the heart of this position, so you'll need excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships across diverse teams and external partners. Your background will include working closely with creative agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes, while your proactive, detail-orientated approach ensures challenges are anticipated and resolved quickly. Ideally you will have experience in higher education or a similar sector, along with knowledge of change management principles and an understanding of branding regulations and intellectual property. Candidates will also need to possess an undergraduate degree level or have the equivalent qualification/experiential learning.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
