Owen Payne Recruitment are now recruiting experienced Steel Fabricators to join their expanding team in the Bilston area.
If you’re a skilled Steel Fabricator looking to take the next step in your career, this 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.
You will play a key role in assembling and fabricating mechanical components, products, and structures using a variety of tools and equipment—ensuring all work meets the highest industry standards within a leading manufacturing environment.
We have start dates available for the next 2 weeks, alternatively we have roles available in January for the right candidates!
Hours of Work:
• Friday: 07:00–13:00
Rate of Pay:
Key Responsibilities:
• Operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and position materials as needed
• Reading and interpret drawings to determine project requirements
• Inspecting finished products for quality and ensuring they meet specifications
• Maintaining and performing routine checks on welding and fabricating equipment
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work areaAny additional duties as and when required
• Undertaking additional duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
• Must be able to read drawings
• Experience with operating overhead cranes preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a fabrication environment
