About the Role
As Assistant Headteacher (Teaching & Learning), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience for our students and staff. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, you will:
• Deputise for the Headteacher and Deputy Headteachers when required.
• Be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school strategic development.
• Lead and oversee key areas, including (but not limited to):
• Teaching & learning strategy
• CPD programme and INSET days
• Staff appraisals and performance management
• Quality assurance
• Homework systems and ClassCharts
• Staff induction and tutoring programmes
• ECT/ITE programmes
