Summary

VolkerLaser repairs, strengthens and waterproofs concrete and steel structures, offering a tailored package of specialist works to clients across the UK. We're on the lookout for a Sustainability Coordinator to become a vital part of our growing team in Worcester. In this role, you'll be more than a compliance champion - you'll help shape sustainable practices that make a real impact. Working closely with our HSEQS team, you'll ensure we meet company, client, and industry standards while turning accurate data into powerful insights that drive smarter, greener decisions.

What you will do

  • Play a pivotal role in supporting VolkerLaser in becoming the industry leader in low-carbon construction.
  • You'll provide proactive administrative support across our projects, including managing carbon and waste data, which will be a key part of your role, including the preparation of reports. This will support the implementation of PAS 2080 and other reporting frameworks.
  • Engagement with stakeholders will be required. This will include our project teams, our support functions, supply chain and clients.
  • You will be able to initiate trials for low-carbon and waste reduction solutions and write and share case studies.
  • You'll also be checking fleet safety and incident records.
  • You'll also assist with our annual audit programme and attend meetings.
  • Provide effective administrative support in the collection of HSEQS data, periodic reporting, trend analysis, and identifying opportunities for improvement within the VolkerLaser business.
  • Assist the HSEQS team with a variety of other needs as required.

  • Ability to produce accurate work within time-scales
  • Any experience in sustainability, particularly managing carbon data, would be desired due to the nature of our current contracts.
