Summary
We're looking for an experienced Roofing Team Leader to join us in Worcestershire to lead our team of Multi-skill Trades Roofers on site.
What could you be doing?
You'll provide supervisory, practical and technical support to the roofing team, ensuring all planned and responsive roofing works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You'll support the Roofing Area Manager in coordinating labour, materials and programme delivery, including oversight of roofing schedules, work in progress and completion against targets.
You'll take the lead on Health & Safety compliance, ensuring adherence to asbestos regulations, safe systems of work, scaffolding requirements, and all statutory and company policies.
Supervise and support daily operative activities, managing first-line performance issues and escalating complex matters to the Roofing Area Manager as necessary.
And maintain clear, accurate reporting of progress, risks, and issues, ensuring effective communication between site teams and management to support delivery of operational targets.

We want somebody who can:
A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
Some things we need from you:
-You'll have significant roofing experience with a roofing qualification
-Health & Safety knowledge (a relevant qualification in this would be desirable)
-Experience of working within a multi-skilled environment
-Experience of working within a customer focused environment
-Experience of supervising or managing a team, and leads by example
-Ability to make key decisions, comfortable with responsibility and accountability for successful outcomes in service delivery
-Ability to establish and maintain strong, sustained working relationships
-Excellent problem-solving ability
-Strong communication skills
-Experience of ordering and planning materials and resources as required
-IT Literate
-Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
-Full current valid driving Licence essential as this is a mobile role
-As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.
There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.
This role is for a team based in Worcestershire you will need to live in this area.
