Key Responsibilities

The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  
  

• Planning lessons that are ambitious, inclusive, and aligned with the national curriculum

  
  

• Using assessment effectively to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly

  
  

• Contributing to departmental planning, moderation, and curriculum development

  
  

• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom routines

  
  

• Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND or additional needs

  
  Requirements

  To be considered for this Maths Teacher role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it

    
    

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

    
    

  • Ability to teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

    
    

  • Strong classroom management and high expectations of pupil behaviour

    
    

  • A reflective and collaborative approach to teaching

    
    

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
