Crynodeb
Provide Leadership and Senior management to a portfolio of Nursing Services as defined by Lead Nurse.
Responsible for supporting Lead Nurse with professional Nursing Issues, nursing care and quality standards - and will deputise as required.
Provide forward thinking clinical and professional leadership to nursing staff at all levels ensuring that nursing care is delivered to a high standard and that the nursing resource is managed effectively.
The post holder will mange devolved budgets within the financial envelope inclusive of delivery for divisions cost improvement plan.
Champion the Trust' s Nurse Strategy and uphold values and standards of the Nursing Profession.
The post holder will provide senior operational support to the Service Manager/Lead Nurse for Specialist Nurses and will deputise for the Lead Nurse at local, regional and national strategic meetings as required.
The post holder will work clinically with all staff observing and developing clinical skills
Establish and maintain the effective management of community services supporting Lead
Nurse.
Lead on the planning and delivery of safe staffing within community services. In common with all
Trust senior nurses, will ensure that the following values are an inherent part of all work:

To provide day to day operational support to nursing services, working with service managers to

To be a member of the senior management team for Newham Community Health Services and as such to deputise for the Lead Nurse at internal and external meetings, having the capacity to make
decisions and escalate issues as necessary.
