About our Organisation
The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity which works across the spectrum of human health, the environment and animal welfare. That’s because we cannot tackle these issues in isolation.
We campaign for change, we support farming innovation, we serve healthy food in communities, we support and grow the organic market, and we protect forests. We couldn't do any of this without our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world where it’s needed the most.
About the Opportunity
This role contributes to the work of the Soil Association across all work areas in transitioning farmers to more nature and climate friendly ways of farming.

You will provide expert knowledge and advice on agroecological (including organic) farming approaches and organic conversion to farmers, growers, policy makers, government and other teams within the Soil Association.
You will be delivering projects, knowledge exchange programmes, training and consultancy work carried out within the Farm Advice Team including UK Government funded and EU programmes and Retailer partnerships and the coordination and facilitation of relevant field labs and Learning Networks within the Innovative Farmers program.
About You
You will have experience of organic, agroecological and regenerative farming with experience of giving advice, particularly with Livestock and grass based systems. You will have experience of facilitating meetings, presenting and of developing and maintaining learning networks.
