Summary
Applicants must be an RNLD/ have a Diploma in Learning Disability Nursing and be registered with the NMC. You will be responsible for managing a busy caseload To work autonomously and also as a member of the team To work to provide assessment and treatment to individuals within the community who may be experiencing a decline in their physical health, mental health and wellbeing, or displaying behaviours that challenge. To work with patients, families, carers, social care and external providers You will participate fully as a multidisciplinary team member working in partnership with social care and voluntary/independent sector providers. To work Monday - Friday 9 - 5, excluding Bank Holidays Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
