This is a group role, as such the location can be flexible.

As part of our Development Team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our properties and green credentials and leaving a lasting impact on our brand.
Role Overview
The Sustainability & ESG Coordinator will support the delivery of sustainability and ESG initiatives across the hospitality operation, helping to reduce environmental impact while supporting responsible business practices.
This is a hands-on, junior role focused on day-to-day coordination across hotel operations, energy and water efficiency, waste management, supply chain sustainability, and ESG data collection and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Sustainability & ESG Operations
• Support the implementation of sustainability policies across hospitality operations (front of house, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance)
• Assist with energy, water, and waste reduction initiatives across sites
• Support renewable energy and energy efficiency projects where applicable
• Help embed sustainable practices into daily operations and guest-facing activities
ESG Data, Reporting & Compliance
• Collect and maintain sustainability and ESG data (energy, water, waste, carbon, suppliers)
• Support ESG reporting and internal performance tracking
• Assist with compliance with relevant environmental and sustainability standards and requirements (including WAG-related expectations where applicable)
• Maintain sustainability documentation, procedures, and evidence for audits or assessments
Stakeholder & Engagement Support
• Work with operational teams to promote sustainable behaviours and best practice
• Support staff engagement and awareness activities related to sustainability and ESG
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors on sustainability-related information and initiatives
• Help communicate sustainability initiatives internally and, where appropriate, to guests
Skills & Experience
Essential
• Strong interest in sustainability, ESG, or responsible business within hospitality
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks across a fast-paced environment
• Good data handling and administrative skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Desirable
• Experience or understanding of hospitality operations (hotel, restaurant, leisure, or catering)
• Degree, qualification, or training in sustainability, ESG, or a related field
• Awareness of hospitality sustainability topics such as energy use, food waste, water efficiency, and responsible sourcing
• Familiarity with sustainability standards or accreditation schemes (e.g. Green Key, ISO 14001, B Corp, or similar)
