Summary

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Demand Planner to join our clients team. This role is responsible for driving accurate demand forecasts, effective stock management, and efficient ordering processes while supporting pricing activities and providing ad hoc finance support. The successful candidate will have strong system knowledge, including experience with AGR planning systems, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, trends, and market insights
- Manage stock levels to achieve optimal availability while minimising excess and obsolescence
- Plan and execute ordering activities in line with demand plans and supplier lead times
- Monitor and analyse forecast accuracy, identifying risks and opportunities
- Support pricing activities through data analysis, margin review, and volume forecasting
- Maintain and utilise the AGR system for forecasting, planning, and reporting
- Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to align plans and assumptions
- Provide ad hoc finance support
- Prepare regular reports on stock, demand, and performance metrics

Skills & Experience Required

- Proven experience in a Demand Planner or similar supply chain role
- Strong experience in stock management, forecasting, and demand planning
- Hands-on experience with ordering processes and supply planning
- Understanding of pricing principles and commercial analysis
- Experience using AGR or similar demand planning systems
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with ERP systems advantageous
- Ability to support finance teams with ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach
