Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Jack’s Pre-School has a fantastic opportunity for a Practitioner to join our team. The post is for 32.5hrs per week. As a Practitioner you will be a driven, passionate individual working alongside the Early Years Teacher and Head Teacher of Barwick and Stoford School, to support a busy Pre-School achieving and maintaining high standards of care and education. You will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have great organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and timescales. You will ideally have had experience in a nursery/pre-school/forest school setting with high standards, both in terms of childcare and customer care. You will possess a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements and outcomes. Qualified to a minimum of NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will be working in the setting with support from the Early Years Teacher. Some of your responsibilities will include: · Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children up to 4 years of age, building links and working in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the wellbeing of children, to develop and implement the EYFS curriculum, to support and implement the policies, procedures and practices within the setting, including all relevant legislation.
