The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic ARB Teaching Assistant to support pupils learning at Trevithick Learning Academy. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within our ARB, supporting pupils with a range of needs and helping them access a broad, balanced, and inclusive education.
The successful candidate will be patient and empathetic, supporting pupils in managing their behaviour while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Prior experience working with SEN pupils is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, a compassionate approach, flexibility, and an engaging personality are essential for this position.
As an ARB Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils engage with the curriculum during whole class, group, and one-to-one activities. You will work closely with class teachers and ARB staff to ensure every child receives a broad, balanced, and well-rounded education. Supporting the development of communication and social skills will be central to your role, and you will adapt approaches to meet individual needs while fostering independence and confidence.
