What skills and experience we're looking for
The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support pupils learning at Troon CP School.
As the successful candidate, you will have a nurturing demeanour and be fully committed to promoting the needs and welfare of all children, including those with SEN/D. You will demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
You will play a vital role in supporting the educational, social, and physical development of pupils, assisting with classroom activities, and promoting inclusion and independence. This includes working closely with teachers and support staff to implement strategies tailored to individual learning needs, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all.
Candidates must hold GCSE qualifications in Maths and English. Experience with Read Write Inc. is desirable but not essential. We welcome candidates who are passionate about education, able to work collaboratively, and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
